We’re super excited to announce two new programs coming up in 2024.
The first is a Virtual STOP THE BLEED® Skills Verification program. We have a number of people who apply to become licensed STOP THE BLEED® instructors who meet all of the requirements, except they have not yet taken an approved STOP THE BLEED® class. Many of these individuals have not taken a class because they are unable to find one in their area. The Skills Verification program solves this problem. Applicants can sign up for a virtual session with a qualified instructor to demonstrate the proper application of a tourniquet and how to pack a wound as well as general STOP THE BLEED® knowledge. This program will become available in January 2024.
The second is a Webinar program, which will launch in the 1st quarter of 2024. The STOP THE BLEED® Webinar program is designed for current instructors. It will provide training and other STOP THE BLEED® updates as well as a forum for instructor questions and to solicit feedback from the instructor community so we can better support their work.
