National Preparedness Month covers a lot of ground as there are many kinds of emergencies one should be prepared for. We encourage everyone to visit the FEMA website: “Ready” to learn about how to prepare for a variety of disasters and emergencies.
Our job is to focus on bleeding emergencies and we always look forward to September each year. National Preparedness Month helps to draw attention to STOP THE BLEED® .
We also use September to introduce new information about the campaign – new programs and support – as well as special announcements. This year is not different. Our team has been very busy during the summer months and we’re excited about all the news we’ll be sharing once we hit Labor Day Weekend. So please stay tuned so you can learn about the NEW STOP THE BLEED® Instructor Program and new STOP THE BLEED® course materials. We’ll also be announcing the STOP THE BLEED® Scholarship and Grant winners!
Finally, we’re thrilled to announce that the Stop the Bleed Coalition will be exhibiting at this year’s EMS World in New Orleans (Sep 20 – 22). Visit us at booth 556!
