Students will learn:
Learning how to STOP THE BLEED® is pretty straightforward. Take a STOP THE BLEED® class offered by a licensed STOP THE BLEED® Instructor in your area. Classes are typically about an hour long combining a lecture period with hands-on training. Once you complete the class, you’ll be eligible for an official U.S. Department of Defense STOP THE BLEED® Certificate. You can find instructors in your area by visiting this page.
Another option is to watch the Essentials of Stop the Bleed video (it’s Free!), which covers the lecture portion of a STOP THE BLEED® class, and to attend a skills-based hands-on training session. Once you complete the skills based session, you’ll be eligible for an official DoD STOP THE BLEED® Certificate. Visit this page to begin the online course.
