The STOP THE BLEED® Campaign is open to all and participation is encouraged for any person or group who supports the primary goal of helping in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Participation is free of charge.
Instructors #
Both healthcare and non-healthcare professionals who have completed and approved STOP THE BLEED® course can become instructors. You do not need to be a member of a licensee organization within STOP THE BLEED® to be registered as an instructor. Existing instructors who teach STOP THE BLEED® courses are also encouraged to register as instructors here with the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
Public #
Educating bystanders to situations where there is a bleeding emergency is the purpose of the Campaign, and most of these bystanders are in the general public. By taking a short STOP THE BLEED® course, at little or no cost, anyone can be in a position to help stop severe bleeding before professional responders arrive.
Organizations #
Companies, non-profit organizations, medical schools, hospitals, government agencies and other organizations that want to offer bleeding control training to their organization’s personnel or to the public receive information and resources through Licensee programs with STOP THE BLEED®
